Allison Marion Smalls, 59, of Canton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026. She was born on October 15, 1966, in Holtsville, NY, to John Francis and Tamara Serena (Craig) Smalls. Allison was a vibrant spirit who filled her life with love, laughter, and style.

Growing up, she had a passion for band and gymnastics and was actively involved at St. Andrews Lutheran Church. She later pursued her studies in Business Administration at Morgan State University and Farmingdale Community College, setting the stage for her career as a Financial Service Advisor at Citi Corp Financial Services.

Allison had an eye for fashion and took great joy in curating her impressive clothing collection. She was also a devoted to her beloved canine companions, Missy, Kip, and BJ, who have since crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

A woman of faith, Allison found strength in her community at The Rock Church in Virginia Beach, where she participated in the prayer line and women's ministry. Recognizing the power of prayer, Allison was also actively engaged as a prayer counselor for the Christian Broadcast Network.

Although Allison is preceded in death by her parents, she leaves behind her loving brother, Shawn Smalls, and dear cousins Guy Craig and Wendy (Hammie) Harrel.

Join us in celebrating the life of Allison, a true fashionista, devoted friend, and beloved sister. A public viewing will be held in the chapel of the J. E. Washington Funeral Services, Inc., 1617 Third Street NE in Canton on Friday August 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Noon where her beloved brother Shawn will oversee the celebration of reflections.

After an 11:00 AM committal ceremony, Allison will be laid to rest on the following day, Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Tod Homestead, 2200 Belmont Ave, Youngstown, OH 44505.
