Obituary For Apostle Clyde R. Daniels

Heaven and Earth rejoice as we celebrate the life, legacy, and Kingdom impact of Apostle Clyde R. Daniels—a husband, father, grandfather, son, and global spiritual father— who transitioned into eternal glory on June 21, 2025. He was a warrior of the Word, a leader to leaders, and an apostolic architect whose life demonstrated the power, love, and order of the Kingdom of God in every arena he touched. His passing leaves a profound imprint on generations of believers, trailblazers, and reformers worldwide.

Born on March 17, 1968, in Youngstown, Ohio, to the union of Clyde Dixon and Janice Bethel, Clyde—affectionately known as “Butchie”—grew up with a deep love for truth, wisdom, and the presence of God. He graduated from the esteemed Rayen School and later attended Youngstown State University, beginning what would become a lifelong journey of learning, leadership, and legacy.

Clyde pursued his academic studies with the same fervor he pursued God’s call. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration and Ethics from Mid-America Christian University, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Concordia University, and a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Human Resources Management from Cornell University. He was actively engaged in doctoral studies at the University of the Cumberlands, where he began his dissertation research in 2024, pursuing a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies with a focus in Ministry and Missions.

In addition to earning multiple professional certifications—including Business Success Coaching through the American Union of National Life Coaching Practice—he was nationally recognized for leadership, receiving the National Leadership Award and serving as Honorary Co-Chairman of the Business Advisory Council for the National Republican Congressional Committee.

Clyde served in excellence at the Georgia Department of Human Services as a Supervisor of Age Blind & Disable Medicaid Economic Support Specialists. His more than 25 years of career experience exemplified servant leadership, integrity, strategy, and compassion. Yet, his truest assignment was always apostolic—raising reformers, activating visionaries, and sending leaders into purpose.

In 1998, Clyde was ordained as an Elder at Abundant Life Christian Center Ministries in Racine, Wisconsin. In 1999, he was ordained as Pastor under Dominion Fellowship in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 2005, he was commissioned and ordained as an Apostle through the Foundation of Apostles and Prophets. To validate his divine calling and Kingdom assignment, he and his wife Scheherazade founded and led Dominion Harvest Ministries, Harvest International Embassy, and the Dominion Ambassadors Network. Each ministry was committed to training and equipping believers for the work of the ministry, challenging thinking, and demonstrating the Kingdom beyond the church walls.

He not only preached the Kingdom—he documented it. Clyde authored Demonstrating the Kingdom, a powerful and practical guide that equips believers to walk in divine authority and manifest heaven on earth. Available on Amazon, the book stands as both a legacy and a manual—continuing to raise up leaders and ignite purpose around the world.

His life was a manifestation of Isaiah 61:1–3. He healed the brokenhearted, proclaimed liberty to captives, and exchanged ashes for beauty in the lives of all he touched. He was a trusted voice to apostles, prophets, pastors, and marketplace executives, offering wisdom, order, and prophetic precision. He trained with intention, fathered with love, and led with fire.

As we reflect on his life, we do not mourn as those without hope. We honor the mantle he carried by picking it up and moving forward. Clyde didn't just leave a legacy—he planted one. And we are the fruit. His impact now multiplies through every life he touched, every leader he launched, every lesson he taught, and every room where his voice yet echoes.

Clyde remains embedded in the heart of his devoted partner in marriage and ministry, Scheherazade Daniels, with whom he built a life of love and purpose. Together, they raised three beautiful daughters—Shaheedrah Strong (Sean), Kayla Daniels, and Bethany Daniels, each who boldly shares the mantel placed upon them. Clyde was a hands-on and loving grandfather to Joah, Jael, Shiloh, and Samson—forever their biggest fan and most intentional teacher.

He also leaves precious moments with his bonus mother, Elizabeth Dixon and was embraced by a strong lineage of siblings: Ayana Bethel, Andre Dixon (Angela), Joy Dixon, Dorothy Dixon, Francine Turner, Sondra Vaughn, Tauhesah Bethel, Anthony Bethel, William Carter (Kym), and Crystal Carter-Kalu (Michael). His family was his heartbeat—his covering and his earthly reward.

He cherished his family deeply. They were his safe haven, greatest joy, and living evidence of God’s goodness. Whether fishing on a lake or river, talking all things football and sports with his friends, playing sports video games with his grandchildren, or being hands-on in teaching new recipes, Clyde created moments that reflected the heart of the Father—full of love, patience, wisdom, and strength. In everything he did, he created moments that brought people closer to God, closer to each other, and closer to their purpose.

As his faith became sight, he was reunited in eternity with his father Clyde Dixon, mother Janice Bethel, and his beloved sisters Lynette Dixon and Novella Mims. Though he now rests in glory, he leaves behind a legacy of love and leadership that will echo through generations.

We move forward carrying what he has imparted, demonstrating the Kingdom in every arena we enter. There is a divine release to unleash, duplicate, and multiply the love, grace, and authority he modeled so consistently. As Clyde R. Daniels lived, the world is better. And because Christ reigns, we will see him again. In triumph, the apostle reminds us that "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

Apostle Clyde was a guiding light whose kindness, wisdom, and dedication created a beautiful legacy. Though he has left this world, his spirit remains with us—forever in our hearts, guiding and inspiring us in all we do. In honor of the Man of God’s remarkable journey and the invaluable impact he had in the lives of many on behalf of the Kingdom, there will be a time of visitation from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the Murray Brothers Funeral Home, 1199 Utoy Springs Road SW, Atlanta, GA 30331.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Elizabeth Baptist Church, 4245 Cascade Road SW, Atlanta, GA with 10:00 AM viewing and the services to start at 11:00AM with Pastor Elliot Cohen presiding. Services can be viewed remotely via livestream at http://elizabethbaptist.org/col

If attending Clyde’s homegoing celebration, we are asking everyone to join us in honoring his life by wearing white and purple.

White symbolizes purity, victory, and eternal life in the Bible—representing the promise that Clyde is now resting in glory with the Lord. Revelation 7:9 speaks of a great multitude in white robes, standing before the throne of God.

Purple was Clyde’s favorite color and is also a biblical symbol of royalty, honor, and dignity—a beautiful reflection of the way he lived and the legacy he leaves behind.

After the committal ceremony, Apostle Daniels' remains will be laid to rest upon the serene meadows of the South-View Cemetery Association, between the Garden of Glory and the Garden of Faith, located at 1990 Jonesboro Road SE, Atlanta, GA 30315 awaiting the victorious return of Christ.
