With hearts laden with sorrow, yet overflowing with unconditional love, the family of Carolyn Boone announces the passing of a cherished mother, sister, and grandmother, who journeyed to her eternal rest on June 6, 2026, as a patient in the Cleveland Clinic.
Entering the world on August 2, 1955, in Youngstown, Ohio, to the union of Ethel (Owens) Boone and Walter Boone, Carolyn embraced life with warmth and grace, attending the Rayen School and ultimately choosing to nurture her family with boundless love and devotion from the comfort of her home.
Throughout her life, Carolyn exemplified the beauty of motherhood, raising her beloved sons, Brodrick Boone and Frederick Boone, who were the light of her days. In time, the roles reversed and Brodrick served as her loving caregiver, standing by her side, providing unwavering support and compassion as life circumstances presented its challenges.
Carolyn also leaves cherished and precious moments shared with George A. Stephens, the love of her life and companion, along with her beloved sister Ruth Redding whose bond brought resilience and joy to Carolyn's journey. Collectively, they created sustaining memories which will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew them.
Carolyn’s legacy lives on through her grandchildren, Lamar McQueen, RaJade Boone, and Brandon Boone, as well as her great-grandchildren, Kamara, Ayia, Kamari, and Easton, each a sparkling reflection of her love, along with a score of family and friends.
As we remember Carolyn, let us carry her spirit in our hearts, embracing the beauty of family, the warmth of love, and the joy of cherished memories.
