In loving memory of Christina Taylor, who peacefully departed this life on February 15, 2026, leaving behind a trail of laughter, love, and a legendary stash of Snickers candy bars tucked under her pillow. Born in Newark, NJ, Christina, the daughter of the late Evron Taylor, she bloomed into an outspoken force of joy, settling in Youngstown, OH, where she filled hearts with good energy and good vibes.
Christina was the life of every party, a spirited bus aide at Bellaire Transportation, where she brought smiles to the special needs community. A true lover of music, she filled rooms with her soulful R&B rhythms and the sweet sounds of her accordion. A songstress in her own right, the melodies of her heart echoed love.
You could always count on Christina to have an abundant supply of tissues—because what’s a good laugh without a heartfelt cry now and then? With her favorite dish of rice and beans and a scoop of pistachio ice cream, she savored life's simple pleasures.
Christina leaves precious memories with her daughter Azure Badillo and son Anthony Taylor. Christina adored her grandchildren—Ajhon, Azir, Azari, Aivy, Zavion, Zayannah, Zakiya, and A'ley—enthusiastically cheering them on at every football game, basketball match, and track meet.
Though her time with us has come to an end, her spirit will forever echo in the laughter of loved ones and the melodies of her favorite tunes. In honoring Christina’s expressed wishes, there will be no public services. However, she does encourage those who loved her to celebrate her life as she lived - keep the music playing, the Snickers close, and carry her spirit forward, one memory at a time.
At this time of intimate need and personal loss, the family of Christina Taylor elected to entrust the Ministry of Comfort & Care, along with Transitional After-Care Arrangements to the J. E. Washington Funeral Services, 2234 Glenwood Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio, 330.782.8500.
