Darryl also displayed compassion and generosity, often extending himself even in sickness. His kind heart was his trademark.
A cherished son, father and brother, Darryl is lovingly remembered by His daughters, Shantel Townsend and Dominique Moore, both who will carry forward his legacy, as will his grandchildren, Brooklynn and Harlem, who were the light of his life. He was also blessed to be the godfather to Demetrius Darden.
Darrly dearly loved his sisters—April Richardson, Cheryl Barrow, Melanie Richardson-Organ, and Michelle Richardson—who grew up alongside him, sharing laughter, dreams, and the unconditional bond of family, along with a large score of family and friends.
He was escorted to the ancestral table by his parents and grandparents who preceded him into eternity.
