Deborah Ann Henry, 71, of Columbus, Ohio, peacefully departed this life at the Grant Medical Center. On July 31, 2026, following an extended illness. She was surrounded and embraced by the love of her family and friends.

Born in Canton, Ohio, Deborah was the beloved daughter of the late Rossie Henry and Frank Henry II. She is preceded in death by her loving sister Patricia Goins. She graduated from Washington High School in Massillon, Ohio, then attended National Beauty College, pursuing a career as a licensed beautician.

Throughout her life, Deborah was known for her versatility. She worked at Republic Steel in Canton, bartended, and later relocated to Columbus, Ohio, where she attended Columbus Community College, pursuing her STNA license, maintaining a 4.0 grade point average! She devoted many years of service within the long-term care industry, serving at several nursing homes, such as Ridgeway Care Center, while always caring for others with compassion.

Affectionately known as Deb by many friends and Heavy Debbie by her family, Deborah had a vibrant personality that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She found great joy in spending time with her loved ones and embraced the freedom of the open road, camping and going on road trips with her motorcycle family. Known by her road name, "Miss Sassy," she was a proud member of Rare Blood, Dragon Masters, and the Eagles motorcycle clubs in Columbus, Ohio. The friendships and brotherhood she found within the motorcycle community became an important part of her life.

Deborah leaves to cherish her loving memory her three devoted sons, Corey (April) Henry, Andre (Deatria) Henry, and Romon Henry, all of Columbus, Ohio. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Kenya, Romel, Roman, Andre, and Andez, and a cherished great-grandmother to one great-granddaughter, Ajorie Henry. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Lillian Williams of Canton, Ohio, Mark Henry of Canton, Ohio, and Frank Henry III of Fernandina Beach, Florida.

Deborah will be deeply missed by her dear friends Mildred Bradley of Canton, Evon Fleshman, and Jennie Turner of Columbus, as well as her beloved cousin, Pastor James Chester. She also leaves behind nieces, Carol Young, Regina Peterson and Melva Hatley, nephews, Eric (Cheryl) Henry, Travis Norman, and Mark Henry Jr., along with host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends whose lives were enriched by her presence.

Deborah's life was marked by resilience, kindness, and an unwavering love for her family and friends. Her warm smile and spirited personality will forever remain in the memories of those who were blessed to know and love her. Though she is no longer with us in body, her legacy of love, strength, and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Celebration of Life services will be held to honor Deborah's life on Monday August 10, 2026, in the chapel of J. E. Washington Funeral Services, Inc, 1617 Third Street NE. in Canton, Ohio. The public is invited to pay their respects during a viewing from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM. officiated by Pastor James Chester of United Praise Church of God in Christ.

As we gather to celebrate the life of Deborah, Deb or Heavy Debbie, let us remember her warm heart and the joys she brought to all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.
