Some people simply pass through this world, while others leave a lasting impression on every heart they touch. Frank Percy Alston Jr. was born on March 2, 1958, in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Mattie Binion-Alston and Frank Percy Alston Sr.
From an early age, Frank possessed a special kind of spirit-one that would grow into a personality as colorful, vibrant, and unforgettable as the man himself.
Frank graduated from East High School in 1975 and later continued his education and graduated from Bell & Howell University in Columbus, Ohio. Throughout his working years, he dedicated many years of service to a steel factory in Warren, Ohio.
Frank was also the owner and operator of his car detailing company Frank's Automotive Detailing. However, Frank's life was about so much more than where he went to school or where he worked.
Frank wasn't a man who simply talked about living life-he went out and lived it. He enjoyed the moments, embraced the experiences, and made memories that his family and friends will cherish forever. He lived the life he wanted to live, unapologetically and wholeheartedly, leaving behind stories that will be told with laughter, smiles, and sometimes tears.
Frank leaves to cherish his precious memory his only son, Frank Percy Alston III, his son's mother, Mildred "Sissy" Littleberry; his loving siblings, Debra Parker, Rev. Judy (Lee) Alston-Eiland, Marsha Alston, and Michele (Edward) Alston; his three cherished grandchildren, Miliyah Alston, Aynaliyah Alston, and Christian Alston; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were made brighter because he was a part of them.
As Frank crossed into eternity on October 29, 2026, he was reunited with his beloved parents and his siblings, Emma Alston and Alfred Alston. Rest peacefully, Frank. Your work here is done, but your love, your laughter, and your unforgettable spirit will live on through everyone who had the privilege of knowing you.
