Obituary For Fred Lamar Williams

Fred Lamar Williams, 41, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2006, in Youngstown Ohio. The beloved son of Frederick Thompson and Beulah Payne was born on July 9, 1984 in Youngstown. Fred attended ROTC in Virginia Beach, Virginia and graduated from Sandusky High. He furthered his education at Akron University and ITT Technical Institute.

Throughout his life he was known for being a passionate and phenomenal tattoo artist named Fresh Ink! Fred will be fondly remembered for his passion as a San Fransico 49’ers fan! Fred loved hues of blue, his love and talent for creating tattoos, drawing and music. He also amassed an impressive collection of hats. He generously shared love and encouragement to all fortunate to known him.

Fred is survived by his wife Karen Fears-Williams of Akron Ohio, father Frederick Thompson of Chesapeake Virginia and mother Beulah Payne of Youngstown. His legacy will be sustained by his sons Mekhi Williams, Mylakhi Burley, both of Youngstown and Kaiden Fears-Williams of Akron.

Fondest memories are retained by his siblings Ronnie Williams of Sandusky Ohio, Ranika Williams of Akron, Artisha Williams and Anthony Williams, both of Atlanta. His grandmother Annie Thompson of Youngtown, along with a host of relatives and friends will cherish precious moments shared with Fred.

As he crossed the celestial sands into eternity, he was reunited with the ancestors, which includes Ida Mae Tolbert, Leroy Wright and Fred Thompson. Though deeply missed, Fred’s enduring legacy and infectious love, compassion and strength will continue to inspire all whose lives were impacted simply by his presence.

Fred will continue to be known for his creativity, genuine nature, and infectious laugh. The celebration of Fred’s life has taken place.
