Harry was born on July 5, 1950, to the union of Katherine Jones-Johns and Harry Brown Johns Sr. On July 25, 2024, Harry peacefully departed from this world encased by the overwhelming presence of his family’s love.
Harry was an alumnus of Brownville High School. He spent his professional career in the bustling world of automotive manufacturing, dedicating years of his life as an assembler at General Motors. Harry found solace in the intricate dance of precision and passion that defined his career. Despite facing his fair share of life’s challenges, Harry's unwavering determination shone brightly, illuminating the path for his loved ones to navigate life's twists and turns.
As a resident of Liberty, Harry created a haven filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. With his beloved spouse, the former Debra Mockabee, by his side, Harry nurtured a family that stood as a testament to his boundless love and unwavering commitment.
Harry was a man of integrity, kindness, and resilience. His presence brought warmth and laughter to those around him, and his memory will forever be a source of comfort and strength. A man of simple pleasures, Harry found joy in the everyday moments of life.
His legacy lives on through the memories shared with his beloved soulmate Debra and his cherished children Jason Johns, Felicia Wallace, and Tonya Boyd. Also mourning his loss yet rejoicing in the attainment of peace, his siblings Carl Johns and Lori Johns. His legacy will be upheld by his twenty grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a score of family and friends who loved him dearly.
Now assuming his place among the ancestors, Harry was welcomed into eternity by his beloved parents, brother Horace Johns and sons Russell Mockabee and David Johns,
