It is with heavy hearts to publicly announce the untimely passing of Jaheim Cordell Jackson Sr., who left us on May 27, 2026, at the tender age of 21. A beloved son, brother, and father, Jaheim was born on September 13, 2004, in Youngstown, Ohio, where he spent his life surrounded by family and friends who cherished him.
Jaheim was known for his bright smile, a love for music- especially his favorite rapper, NBA YoungBoy, and a passion for football during his high school years at Chaney, graduating in 2023. He had an appreciation for all hues of the shades of blue. Jaheim was employed as a laborer at the TJX Warehouse, where he was respected by his coworkers for his dedication and good nature.
Jaheim’s love and fond memories are entrusted to his loving mother, Cora Harris, and father, Jason Jackson Sr. His legacy will be sustained by his fiancé Aniya Wade and his beloved children, Jaheim Jackson Jr. and Mei'lani Jackson.
Jaheim enjoyed cherished moments with his siblings Jason Jackson Jr., Jaliya Jackson, Jamya Jackson, Jacora Jackson, and Jalieei Jackson, as well as his grandmothers, Lillian Walker and Gloria Jackson, grandfather William Harris, along with a host of families and friends.
Jaheim was preceded in death by the elders of his family which includes Mack Peoples, Willie Mae Walker and Elizabeth Jackson. Jaheim will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in our hearts.
The family invites the community to gather to celebrate Jaheim's life with a 10:00 AM public viewing on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Jaylex Event Center, 2110 Glenwood Ave in Youngstown. A funeral service to honor Jaheim’s life will begin at 11:00 AM with Rev. Lewis Macklin as the celebrant.
