Obituary For K'Vaughn D. Royal
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of K'Vaughn D. Royal, who left us far too soon on July 23, 2026. Born on February 1, 2006, in Youngstown, OH, KâVaughn was a bright light in our lives, known for his infectious smile and unwavering spirit.
K'Vaughn had a passion for sports, excelling particularly basketball, taekwondo, and flag football. He was also known for his love of the color blue, often seen brightening the day of those around him with his contagious enthusiasm. His canine companion, Peezy, whom he lovingly referred to as his son, mirrored his playful nature and brought him joy.
Beyond his hobbies, K'Vaughn was a caring individual who touched the lives of many. He expressed his creativity through music, sharing his rap songs and often seeking advice on various life topics, which he cherished deeply.
The power of redemption and empowerment shone through in his life, highlighted by the acknowledgments and awards from the Mahoning County Career & Technical Center, where he took advantage of community services to empower and equip himself for success. He also was pursuing his interest in culinary arts.
K'Vaughn is survived by his mother, Jesica Farrier; father, Kevin Royal Sr.; sister, Tra'Dayja Farrier; brother, Kevin Royal Jr.; sister, Ka'laiah Stevenson; nephew, DeJon; nieces, La'Kayah and Aubrielle; and nephew, Keith III. He leaves a large host of family and friends who will be deeply missed yet always loved and embedded in hearts and minds.
K'Vaughn was preceded in death by his grandfathers John Grace, Jr, Kevin Preston; great grandparents John Grace Sr. Verniece Grace, Dean Farrier, Thelma Farrier and aunt Belinda Royal.
In this time of grief, we invite all those whose lives were touched by K'Vaughn to join us in honoring his memory and celebrating his life. His spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
A Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Jaylex Event Center, 2110 Glenwood Ave, Youngstown. A public viewing will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Lewis Macklin as the celebrant.

this is his niece Aubrielle Williams and I want everybody to know if y'all was not there for my uncle don't be here now I miss him so much I know he is in heaven looking down at his family smiling and see us pushing through his passing I want him to know that I miss him and love him so as much as I love him I wrote this for everybody to here
We think about u always We talk about u still You will never be forgotten kk We hold you close withing our hearts there u will remain To walk and guide u through our lives until we meet again No words I write can ever say how much I miss you everyday as time goes by the loneliness grows how much I miss you nobody knows I think of you in silence I often speak your name now but all I have are memories and phones in frames no ones knows my pain no one sees my weep but the love I have for you is in my heart to keep forever I've never stop loving you deep in side my heart you are with me still heartaches in this world are any but mines is worse than any my heart still aches as I whisper low " I need you and I miss you" the things we feel deeply are often the hardest to say but I just cant keep quiet anymore so i'll tell you anyway there is a place in my heart that no one else can fill.
