In loving memory of LaChrysha Lynnette Obie who was born on October 24, 1977, in the heart of Youngstown, OH. She is the beloved daughter of Lelia Davis and Michael Carn. LaChrysha graced this world with her presence until her unanticipated departure on June 26, 2024.
A graduate of Chaney High School, LaChrysha's commitment to helping others shone brightly in her role, where she dedicated her days to caring for those in need. As a compassionate nurse's assistant at Moonlight, LaChrysha made an indelible mark in the healthcare industry, touching countless lives with her generous smile, loving kindness and compassionate touch.
Her nurturing spirit extended beyond the walls of her workplace, as a loving wife to Evanda Obie and devoted mother to her daughter DeJa Thomas and son Reginald Christian. She was also cherished by her mother, Elder Lelia (Larry, Jr.) Davis, father, Michael (Ladera) Carn Sr., siblings Antwan Davis, Michael Carn Jr., RoMello Carn, Tyler Thomas, Ian Thomas and Ciera Thomas along with an expansive score of family and friends.
She was welcomed at Heaven’s gate by her revered ancestors, who preceded her into eternity which included her sister Michaelyn J.P. Robinson, aunt Irene L. Boyd, grandparents Willie Joe Boyd & Delois Myers- Boyd and great parents Walter James & Katie Sherril Myers, Will & Lelia Pickett- Johnson.
As we bid farewell to LaChrysha, we find solace in knowing that her legacy of kindness and selflessness will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. In loving memory and fondness, we reflect on her life well-lived, her love boundless, and her spirit eternal.
In celebration of LaChrysha's incredible life, a public viewing and family visitation will be held at Elizabeth Baptist Church, 12 10 Himrod Ave, on Friday July 5, 2024, at 10:00 am. Her life will be celebrated in service at 11:00am with Pastor J. Dwayne Heard presiding as the celebrant.
