With love and fondest memories, the family of Laurita Ann McLean announces the passing of a beloved companion, mother, grandmother, and sister, who peacefully departed this world on April 10, 2024, in Farrell, Pennsylvania. Born on September 26, 1959, to the union of Emce and Letty Jones, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Laurita lived a life filled with love, dedication, and unwavering commitment to her family and her work.
Laurita was a woman of grace and strength, known for her warm smile, caring nature, and her dedication to her role as a manager in the hospitality industry, specifically at Comfort Inn. Her work ethic and passion for helping others left a lasting impact on all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She is survived by her loving soul mate John Jackson Sr., devoted children Leann Jackson, John Jackson, Jr., and Everett Razar McLean. Her legacy will be embraced by her grandchildren Javon Howell, Jahnia Howell, Jordan Gunther, and Kayleigh Brown. She was also cherished by her brothers Calvin L. Jones and Emce Jones Sr., as well as her nephew Emce Jones, Jr., niece JeLissa Jones and a score of relatives and friends.
Laurita was preceded in death by her parents Emce Jones and Letty Jones.
We find comfort and solace in the memories we shared with Laurita, a remarkable woman who touched the lives of so many with her kindness and love. A 10:00am public viewing will take place Friday April 19, 2024, at New Hope Baptist Church, 370 Spruce Avenue, in Sharon PA. In tribute of Laurita’s life, a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11:00 am., officiated by Pastor Clevon Dukes.
Laurita's legacy of love and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. May Laurita rest in peace; she will forever be remembered and cherished.
