Lucy graduated from Westinghouse High School in 1955 and married Richard Lee Fryson on April 4, 1959, in Pittsburgh. After starting their family, they later moved to Youngstown, Ohio. After her children entered junior high, Lucy began her career at Northside Hospital, where she worked as a Ward Clerk for more than 35 years before retiring. In 2021, she and her husband relocated to South Daytona, Florida, where they enjoyed their retirement and the sunshine. Lucy loved fashion, shopping, and good food. She was an avid bowler who won numerous competitions and awards throughout the years.
A generous philanthropist, she regularly donated to charitable causes and was always willing to help those in need. Lucy had a beautiful smile and a laugh that could warm your heart and lift your spirit. She was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed watching westerns, loved traveling, and cherished spending time with her family.
