Youngstown A homegoing celebration in honor of Mrs. Linda Marie Patterson will be held Friday March 25, 2022 at 1pm at the Jaylex Event Center, 2110 Glenwood Ave in Youngstown, Oh. Mrs. Patterson departed this life March 7, 2022 at St. Elizabeth's Health Care Center in Youngstown, OH. Mrs. Patterson was born December 19, 1959 in Youngstown, Oh a daughter of the late Hattie Ford and Charles Scott. She was a faithful employee of MCBDD for over 20 years and was dedicated to the care of her clients. She enjoyed watching classic movies, the Food Network and listening to music, especially Keith Sweat. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving sons, James E Ward Sr. and Isaiah M Ward; her grandson, James E. Ward Jr.; and a host of relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her adopted mother, Fanny Ward who reared her; her husband, Thomas Patterson; her twin sister, Brenda Ward; her siblings, Geraldine Ford Brooks, Charlene Ford, Frank Ford Jr. and Isaac Ford. The family will receive friends Friday March 25, 2022 from 12pm- 1pm at the Jaylex Event Center.

Linda was an incredible part of the Accessible team. I will dearly miss her. Linda blessed me & so many others with her humble, caring & compassionate spirit. She always had a kind word to share and carried herself with quiet grace. I will fondly remember the wonderful aromas she created with her cooking as she frequently shared her cooking talents with her work family.
