North Randall, OH- Renee Anita Ware, a cherished soul and a beloved mother, left this world peacefully on November 5, 2025, lovingly surrounded by her family. Born on August 26, 1971, to the union of Richard L. Ware and Ora B. (Bland) Ware, in Cleveland, Renee was a beacon of light and love in the lives she touched.
A proud 1990 alumna of James Ford Rhodes High School, Renee embarked on a journey of knowledge at the University of Akron and honors scholar at Bryant & Stratton College. But perhaps her greatest classroom was the world around her, where her empathy and kindness flourished as she learned to embrace life, love, and faith. Her inquisitive spirit and warm heart guided her through life, leading her into a vibrant career as a retail stock associate at Sierra of Westlake, where her friendly demeanor brightened the days of colleagues and customers alike.
Renee’s heart was immersed in her abiding faith in God, as she accepted Christ and grew roots in Cleveland’s Holy Trinity Baptist Church before finding a new home at The Word Church. She often worshipped at Garfield Memorial Church in Pepper Pike, OH. Her love for God mingled seamlessly with her deep affection for community, creating bonds that fostered a sense of belonging. Her unwavering faith was a testament to her character and brought comfort to those around her.
Family was Renee’s greatest joy. She adored spending time with her beloved mother, Ora, nurturing her adored son, Christopher Ware-Moore, who was her pride and joy, and creating precious moments with her cherished sister Andrea Ware. Whether shopping or gathering in fellowship, each moment spent with her loved ones was a thread in the rich tapestry of her life.
Renee will be lovingly remembered also by her aunts and uncles, Helen (Frank) Armour, Rosia Pinkston, Bobbie Jennings, Ernest Bland, Willie Jennings, Harold (Patricia) Marrow and an expansive score of cousins, which includes the Ware Family's patriarch Lewis W. Macklin, Sr, who lovingly will carry her legacy forward, thriving in every cherished memory and shared smile.
As Renee entered eternity, she was escorted by her beloved father, Richard Ware, to the ancestral table joining her maternal grandparents James & Alberta Bland and paternal grandparents George & Mamie Ware, each who preceded her in death. While Renee may no longer walk among us, her laughter, love, and light will resonate in our memories and the legacy she leaves behind.
As we remember Renee, the Ware Family invites the community to honor her life and the beautiful memories created on Thursday, November 13, 2025, with a 10:00 AM public viewing and family visitation in the chapel of the J.E. Washington Funeral Home, 2234 Glenwood Ave. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dr. Lewis W. Macklin II as the celebrant. After the committal ceremony, Renee will be laid to rest in the beautiful vista of Belmont Park Cemetery alongside her father.
As we gather, let us celebrate the vibrant spirit of Renee—a daughter, sister, mother, and friend—whose legacy will forever illuminate our paths, reminding us to find joy in each day, to cherish the moments shared, and to carry her love in our hearts wherever we go. May she rest in peace, and may we honor her by living fully and loving deeply, just as she did.
At this time of intimate need and personal loss, the family of Renee Anita Ware elected to entrust the Ministry of Comfort & Care, along with Transitional After-Care Arrangements to the J. E. Washington Funeral Services, 2234 Glenwood Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio, 330.782.8500.
"Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep"
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
