Sabrina L. White, age 53, of Youngstown, Ohio, was called home by God with her family by her side on Saturday, July 4, 2026. She truly earned her wings and is now resting safely in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Sabrina was born on April 13, 1973, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Helen Steele and Orrin Brown. She was a proud 1991 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School in Campbell, Ohio.
For 18 years, Sabrina faithfully served at ISLE, affectionately known as “The Purple Cat,” where she received numerous awards for the exceptional care, compassion, and dedication she showed to those she served.
Sabrina later worked at Community Integration Support, where she was deeply loved and appreciated by both her co-workers and those she served. She had an especially special connection with individuals with special needs, touching countless lives through her kindness, patience, and compassion.
Sabrina faithfully attended The Light Church alongside her grandson, Kimani. Sabrina was known for her generous heart, her willingness to help anyone in need, and the genuine love she showed to everyone she met. In essence, to have known Sabrina it was truly easy to love her.
Sabrina had a creative spirit and enjoyed painting, drawing, crafting, and writing books and poetry. She was also a die-hard Green Bay Packer’s fan, faithfully cheering on her team every season.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories to her loving children: Ricky Williams Jr., Richard Williams Sr, Fashion Taylor, Shi’Anne White, and Ter’Rah White, all of Youngstown, Ohio; along with a host of cherished grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy.
She is also lovingly remembered by her devoted siblings: Sally Steele Kolusek, Shirley Steele Stuhldreher, Charles Steele, Susan Steele, Yolanda Gabriel, and Glen Gabriel; as well as her beloved nieces, Alicia Casey and Tasha Steele, who were raised alongside her as sisters and shared a lifelong sibling bond.
Sabrina also shared lasting friendships with those who held a special place in her heart, including Dexter Buxton, Thomas Spann, Danny Trevathan, Andre Stores, and Caretta Byrd. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will sustain her legacy.
Special appreciation is extended to Jimmy Suttman for all the love, kindness, and unwavering support you gave Sabina. Your friendship, compassion, and presence meant more to her and our family than words can express, and we appreciate you for always being there.
Sabrina was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Steele and Orrin Brown; the father who lovingly raised her, Bill Gabriel; her brothers, Chester C. Steele Jr. and Stephen Brown; her beloved daughter, Ric’Quell Williams; her precious granddaughter, Kamryn McClain; and her cousin, Latrice Johnson, all of Youngstown.
Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we rejoice in knowing that Sabrina's love, faith, compassion, and beautiful spirit will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life honoring Sabrina will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, at The Light Church, 1350 Katherine Avenue, Youngstown.
The calling hours and family visitation will be held at 10:00 AM and the funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark T. Jackson as the celebrant. After a committal ceremony, Sabrina will be laid peacefully to rest upon the serene meadows of Greenhaven Memorial Gardens in Canfield, OH

Sabrina and are first cousins, we worked together for a short time. This came as a shock to me and deeply upsetting. Sabrina was such a loving and kind hearted person, I have had the pleasure of spending time with her laughing and talking, she was an all out beautiful person, she will truly be missed. It was such a pleasure to know you Sabrina you will be missed.
