Samantha Marie Brooks, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, left this world at her residence on February 13, 2025. Born on April 7, 1982, in Youngstown, Ohio, Samantha was the cherished child of the late Ronald and Geraldine Brooks. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit.

Samantha’s spirit glimmered brightly in the lives of those who knew her, leaving behind a tapestry of memories woven with love, laughter, and resilience. Samantha leaves behind her cherished children, Salina Hartzog, Chauntea Talley, Iesha Brooks, Veronica Wesley, and Isaac Brooks- each holding precious memories close in their hearts, along with her special friend William Harris.

Samantha will be deeply missed by her siblings Rhonda Brooks, Stephanie Phillips, Ronald Brooks Sr., Samuel Brooks, and Charles Ford Sr. Samantha, a proud grandmother and revered auntie, remains nestled in the hearts the emerging generations. Her family tree also weaves in a multitude of kinship ties throughout the country.

Samantha entrusts her legacy to the numerous friends who loved her throughout life. A warm and compassionate soul known for her kindness, her laughter continues to echo brightly among friends, and a generous circle of acquaintances that will forever hold her memory dear.

As Samantha entered eternity, she assumes a place at the ancestral table with her beloved parents, Ronald and Geraldine Brooks, and her twin sister, Veronica Lynn Brooks who preceded her. Yet, the love Samantha cultivated remains evergreen, continuing to blossom in the lives she planted seeds within.

Let us celebrate Samantha, her life, and legacy—reflecting on the warmth she brought to our hearts and the lessons of love and compassion she leaves behind. In tribute to her loving spirit, a public viewing will take place on Wednesday March 12, 2025, at the Jaylex Event Center, 2110 Glenwood Ave, in Youngstown, Ohio. The community is invited to gather in remembrance, followed by the funeral service starting at 11:00 AM.
