Obituary For Sandra Mays

A homegoing celebration in honor of Ms.Sandra J Ivory Mays will be held Wednesday December 2, 2020 at 11 am at Antioch Baptist Church in Youngstown, OH. Ms. Sandra passed away at her residence on November 21, 2020. Sandra was born June 29, 1953 in Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of Joe and Georgia Patton Ivory. She was a graduate of East High School and was formally employed in medical records at Forum Health, retiring in 2008. She was member of Anitoch Baptist where she served as the pastor's aide and as a member of the usher board. Sandra loved to travel, music and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her dearly. Besides her fiance Charles Brewer, she leaves to cherish her memory her loving brothers, Joe Ivory, Brian (April) Ivory, and Grover Ivory all of Youngstown; a host of other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Georgia Denson, Curlie Grier, Terrie Posey and LaVerne Martin; her nephew, Robert Ivory; her niece, Tracie Ivory; and her great nephew, Josiah Gregory. The family will receive friends from 10-11am at the church. Services will be held for the immediate family and close friends only. Interment will be in Tod Homestead Cemetery.
