Sherise "Reese" Lyndel Beacham, the beloved daughter of Raymond Edwards, Jr. and Clara Wilson was born June 7, 1958, in Youngstown, Ohio.
Affectionately known to family and friends as "Reese," she attended Todd and Garfield Elementary Schools, Princeton Junior High, and was a cheerleader and proud graduate of South High School.
Shortly upon graduation from South High, Reese ventured to Detroit, MI, working alongside her grandparents as a property manager.
After raising her sons, she moved to Atlanta in 2005. Active in her faith, she diligently sought and discovered a church home, New Jerusalem Baptist Church, where she freely shared her gifts to support the work of ministry. She assisted in various roles but found her true passion as the choir director, where she served until becoming ill.
She married James P. Beacham in 2015, and they settled in Loganville, GA. After retiring as a supervisor with Cigna to remain active and engaged, Sherise began substitute teaching for Gwinnett County Public Schools, where she ultimately retired.
Sherise leaves precious memories which will be cherished by husband James, mother Clara Wilson of Youngstown, sons, Joseph (Keela) of Cocoa Beach, FL, Anthony of Youngstown, Jermaine of Phoenix, AZ, Clarence of Loganville, GA, Leonard of Lawrenceville, GA and daughter Tanisha of Detroit, MI.
Sherise's brothers Raymond (Terry) Edwards III of Youngstown and Tony Jones of Lawrenceville, GA will retain unforgettable experiences and precious moments shared.

As her faith became sight, Sherise experienced a heavenly reunion with her father, paternal grandparents Clandice & Maddie Marchbanks, and maternal grandparents Francis & Gladys Ballinger, all who welcomed her into eternity.
Join the Beacham Family as they say goodbye, remembering the laughter, love, and light she brought into our world. A memorial service to celebrate Sherise's will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at noon at Christian Bible Baptist Church, 2369 Oak Street Extension in Youngstown, where Reverend Ernest Ellis will officiate.

It Is Well With My Soul
When peace like a river attended my way. When sorrows like sea billows roll Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say
It is well, it is well, with my soul It is well, with my soul!
My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought My sin, not in part, but the whole
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more.Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, oh, my soul
And Lord haste the day when my faith shall be sight,The clouds be rolled back as a scroll
The trumpet shall sound, and the Lord shall descend- even so, it is well with my soul!
