Hubbard - Stevynni “Stevy” Tyson-Reddick, 54, passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2024, at Mercy Health-St. Elizabeth Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born June 21, 1969, in Youngstown, Ohio. She was a long-time resident of Hubbard Ohio, born to Cleophus Tyson Jr. and Joan (Cockfield) Tyson.
Stevynni graduated from Hubbard High School in 1987, and later Youngstown State University in 1991, with a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Chemistry. Stevynni loved science, but she also loved working with numbers.
Professionally, she performed bookkeeping duties at her big brother’s company, Big G Construction for ten plus years, later moving on to work with Sutton & Associates for more than fifteen years. She met many people throughout her time at both companies.
Most recently, Stevynni was the transportation supervisor for the Inner-City Transit Company. She also provided professional accounting services to the J. E Washington Funeral Services. Her kind heart was revealed through all her professional and personal endeavors.
Stevynni greatly loved and deeply cared for five children, Cedrick, Michael, Melissa, Anthony and Ka’Ron. Thus, her legacy will endure through each of them. She loved them with all of her heart and would frequently talk about their activities and accomplishments with pride. You would easily find her supporting and championing the children during many of their events. Her broad approving smile was paired with her energy cheering in the stands. She simply would beam with a generous smile from ear to ear.
Besides her children, she is survived with an endearing memory that will be sustained by her siblings Gregory (Michele) Tyson (Youngstown), Geoffory (Stacy) Tyson (Texas), Barrington (Rita) Tyson (Michigan), Dawn (James) Griffin (Maryland), and her niece who was more like her sister Renae (DaRon) Chinn (Dayton), nephews James & Jordan Griffin, who she adored, a score of cousins, aunts, uncles and other family members. She also leaves behind a former spouse, James Reddick and a multitude of loyal and dedicated friends to cherish her memory.
Stevynni had a perchance for traveling and always enjoyed a good road trip. She just loved fellowshipping and hanging out with friends and family, no special occasion required. Thanksgiving was one of her favorite holidays. She also enjoyed spending time reading and watching her favorite medical shows. Stevynni was extremely kind-hearted, and never knew a stranger. If you knew Stevynni, then you loved her.
Even in her passing, Stevynni remained true to her nature as a giver to bless others. She afforded others an extended quality of life as an organ donor. Anticipating her arrival, Stevy was warmly greeted at Heaven’s Gates her parents, Cleophus and Joan Tyson.

I Miss You Always Mom
My heart has been left broken
Since the day you had to go
And the memories I treasure dearly
Are in the tears that still flow
You’re in my thoughts everyday
And that’s how it will always be
For you may be up in Heaven now
But you’ll always be with me
If only I could have the chance
To see your face once more
Or to hear your voice one final time
Just like it was before
The day that Heaven calls for me
Will be a relief from all this pain
I’ll run to you with open arms
And we will meet again.

Her smile was everything. She brought as much joy as her smile expressed. We will miss her terribly but will try to be as good as she thought we all were. God took our angel. Til we meet again. ~ Cheryl Mosley
