In Loving Memory of Barry Davis A Tribute from Charlease Hatchett & the Connected Through Cancer Foundation
Barry Davis was a man whose life reflected both strength and transformation.
Following his diagnosis, Barry made a profound decision to give his life to Christ. From that moment forward, his journey took on new meaning. He became intentional about how he lived, choosing to walk in faith, purpose, and reflection. His life was no longer defined solely by his circumstances, but by his commitment to God and his desire to grow spiritually.
Barry often spoke about the importance of living a life that truly reflects one's beliefs. He desired for others to know that God is real—not just through words, but through a changed heart and a renewed life. His faith became a guiding force, shaping his perspective and strengthening him through every challenge he faced.
Even in the midst of his personal battle, Barry carried a heart for others. He expressed a deep desire to reach back into the places he once walked, to encourage, uplift, and help others see that purpose remains, regardless of past experiences or present struggles.
While we mourn his passing, we also honor the life he chose to live—one marked by faith, growth, and a sincere commitment to becoming better. His journey serves as a reminder that transformation is always possible, and that a life surrendered to God carries lasting impact.

**Prayer for the Family**
Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts that are heavy, yet grateful for the life of Barry. Thank You for the work You did in him, for the transformation we witnessed, and for the faith that carried him through his journey.
Lord, we ask that You draw near to his family in this time of loss. Be their comfort, their peace, and their strength. Where there is sorrow, bring Your presence. Where there is pain, bring Your healing. Where there are questions, bring Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Remind them that they are not alone. Surround them with Your love, uphold them with Your righteous right hand, and cover them with the assurance that You are still God, even in this moment.
Let Barry's life and his faith continue to speak—to bring hope, to stir hearts, and to point others toward You.
We trust You, Lord, even here.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
We extend our heartfelt prayers and condolences to his family, loved ones, and all who were touched by his life.
Barry's life mattered. His faith mattered. And his legacy will continue to speak.
