Obituary Carolyn Annette Moore departed this life on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at her home in Center, Texas. She is 61 years old. It would be wrong to say that Carolyn lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have given up, Carolyn stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like.. She is survived by her husband Jeremy Moore, mother Margie Lee (Late Willie ), Father Willie Howard, brother Michael Anderson (Lisa), sister Tawanda Lee, son Terrance Allen (Rokesha), daughters Heather Wade (Will ), Jaquala Moore, Janequia Moore, JaAliyah Berry and the late “Skip” Hendrix. Carolyn is a cherished grandmother and is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and devoted friends. Carolyn was raised a Christian all of her life and she has definitely kept the faith. Carolyn is a member of the Friendship Missionary Baptist church where her husband, Jeremy, is pastor. Carolyn was a HR manager for a number of years at Tyson Foods of Center, Texas where she will be truly missed as a passionate, humble and sincere Team Member. As life would have it at this time, we are altered in every avenue of our lives and we are truly sad that all of our friends can't share the memories with us at this time. With these things in mind, Carolyn's legacy shall be accompanied with distant memories, distant thoughts, distant prayers, understanding and more than anything the Love that shall allow us to join together in saying "This too shall pass". The family is deeply thoughtful of all of the friends that Carolyn has touched over an amazing career and growing fellowships throughout her church family and friends. A Private Service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2020 and a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
Rest In Peace Carolyn& God be with your family. I knew you to be a great person. Cyn G. W. (Pelican)
Back in 2018 when I worked at Tyson, all I heard was "you look like Carolyn!" "I thought you were Carolyn" "Y'all must be related"... (and I was thinking this woman better look good!) and when I finally met her, I was nervous and thought she would be ugly and give me a hard time...not the case, not only BEAUTIFUL, but definitely a woman of God! And I said, ok, yes, she's my other mother! She definitely took me under her wings and helped groomed me to adapt to Tyson. I can hear her now asking me if I drank her strawberry pop! Lol! She had called me one day and told me she forgot her pop and not to touch it! I love you girl! Sure will miss checking in and catching up! I know we will meet again in His kingdom! -Tameika Maxwell
