Every memory I can remember was one of encouragement. As a freshman at All Saints High School navigating life was challenging. Miss Raines, as we referred to her, had just graduated from college. I remember how all the staff and community embraced her as the shining star that made it big. It was an example to call if is how one could teach at the same high school she was an alumni. I will always hold dear the words softly spoken to me in the graduation procession.I carry these words of encouragement with me every day.
