Obituary For Anna "Big Mama" Woods
(June 7, 1933 ---August 2, 2023)
FRANKSTON--Funeral services for Ms. Anna L Woods, 90, is scheduled for Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 11 am at Lee Springs Baptist Church with Supt. Ray Baker, eulogist.
Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery in Larue under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Company.
Mrs. Woods was born on June 7, 1933 in Henderson County to the late Alvin and Abilene Johnson Hall and she transitioned on August 2, 2023.
She attended Pleasant Ridge School was a homemaker and member of C.M.E. Methodist Church.
She is survived by son: Sherman Sr (Jeanette) Harmon of Tyler; daughters: Alice J. Woods of Frankston, Glinda (Richard) Berry of Tyler, Margie (Keith) Harmon of Dallas; sister: Rose (Michael) Warren of Frankston and a host of grand, great, great, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be Friday, August 11, 2023 from 2 p.m to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
