Obituary For Antonio Mims Sr.

( April 20, 1976 – September 17, 2026 )

TYLER--Funeral services for Antonio Mims, Sr., 50, are scheduled for 12 pm , Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Kingdom Family Church on Highway 31 West in Tyler, Texas. Dr. Stephanie Mauldin will be the eulogist. Burial will be in Gray Cemetery in Kilgore, Texas under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Company.

Mr. Mims was born April 20, 1976 in Smith County to the late Tommy Lee Mims Sr. and Viola Craig. He transitioned September 17, 2026.

Mr. Mims was a graduate of John Tyler High School and was an active member of Kingdom Family Church and an industrial blaster with Trinity Industry.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles. Mr. Mims is survived by spouse Rakeshia Mims of Tyler, Texas; daughters: Britianie McGowen (Sharod) of Winona, Texas, Jasmine Minor, Ja'Mia Mauldin, Meea Mims and Ashland Mims all of Dallas, Texas; son: Antonio Mims Jr. (Tierra) of Houston; brother: Tommy Mims Jr (Yolanda) and five grandchildren.

Public viewing will be on Friday, September 25, 2026 from 2:30 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
