Obituary For Ara Harmon Hollis
( June 28, 1952-- January 26, 2026 )
LARUE---Celebrating the Life, Love and Legacy of Ara Harmon Hollis. Her services are scheduled at 12 noon on February 21, 2026 at North Tenneha Church of Christ with Dr. Richard Barclay, eulogist.
Her kindness, strength and beautiful spirit touched so many lives and will never be forgotten. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in the memories she gave us, the love she shared and the legacy she leaves behind.
Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery in the Antioch Chandler Community. The repast will be held immediately after the commital at Camp Drawhorn, 9951 CR 3201, Chandler, Texas 75758. There will be no public viewing. The family will receive visitors on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 5 pm to 7 pm at the funeral home.

Gabino and I met Mrs. Hollis back in 2002 when we were brandnew from Spain. We worked together at Orr Elementary. You were, are, and will be an EDUCATOR. Your new classroom is Heaven. We love you.
My family wishes to express our deepest sympathy for the Hollis and Harmon family during their time of bereavement. I know that she knew that she left a legacy of two wonderful daughters who will always look up to God for the wonderful family they are blessed with throughout their lives. May they have comfort, peace and joy in their precious memories.
