Obituary For Berlin West Jr.

OVERTON-- Funeral services for Mr. Berlin West Jr, 77, of Overton will be on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at noon in the sanctuary of Scott's Memorial CME Church in Overton, Texas with Supt. Robert Davis Sr. Burial will follow in Overton City Cemetery under the direction of John R Harmon Undertaking Company.
Mr. West was born on May 5, 1946 in Overton, Texas to the late Berlin West Sr. and Mary Campbell West.
Her graduated from Arp Industrial School. He was a member of Scott's Memorial CME Church. Mr. Scott was a truck driver and retired from Bruce McMillian Jr. Foundation.
He is preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Left to cherish his memories are his spouse: Diane West of Overton, Sons: Eugene (Juanita) West of Troup, Gregory West and David West of Baytown. Michael (Belinda) West of Henderson, Jeremy West of Tyler, Chance West (grandson) who he raised as his own son. John (Elmira) Hicks of Oakwood and Johnny (Angela) West of California, thirteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Public viewing will be Friday from 2 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
