Obituary For Coverson "Pee-Wee" McKellar Jr

DALLAS--Funeral services for Mr. Coverson McKellar, 78, are scheduled for 12 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025 at New Hope Baptist Church in Bullard, Texas with Rev. Lester Dewberry, eulogist. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery under direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Company.

Mr. McKellar was born on September 28, 1946 to the late Coverson McKellar Sr. and Letha McKellar in Tyler, Texas. He transitioned on December 23, 2024.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. He leaves cherished memories to sons: Coverson LaCraig McKellar III (Jeannette), Kevin Moore both of Dallas, Texas, Simsmeyun D Johnson of Kaufman, Texas;brother Tony McKellar of Tyler; sisters: Regena Barlow (Issac), Myra Frater (Jimmy), Jessie Mass of Austin, Naomi Moore (SJ) of Dallas, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Public viewing will be Friday, January 3, 2025 from 2 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
