ATHENS--Funeral services for Eula Mae Brown, affectionately known as “Gray Fox”, 68, of Athens will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, at Greater Rock Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. S. Bell officiating and Rev. J. L. Williams delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Co.
October 18, 2025, Eula departed this earthly life surrounded by loved her ones. She was born February 13, 1947 in Larue, (Henderson County) Texas to the late Lacy Robert, Sr. and Osie B. Warren. She received her education at Central High School in the Moore Station Community and retired after 25 years from Harvey Industries, formerly Curtis Mathis Ind.
Preceding her in death were two sons: Alvin Roberts and Norris Robert; her parents; and seven siblings: George Robert, Lacy Robert, Jr., Sula Tatum, Eddie Robert, Benel Robert, Arthur Warren, and Rena Hurd.
Left to cherish his memories: two sons: Uleyses Roberts (Hollie Griffin) and Steven Roberts both of Athens, TX; two brothers: Bennie Warren (Matilda) and Ernest Warren, Sr. (Matilda) both of Athens, TX; two sisters: Bertha Edwards (Bennett) of Murchison, TX and Vera Foster of Frankston, TX; eleven grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Public viewing is Friday 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
