TYLER---Funeral services for Ms. Jasmin Araujo, 32, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2024 at Primeria Iglesia Bautista Tyler. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Co.
Jasmin "Jass" Elizabeth Araujo was born in Canton, TX, and lived in Tyler, TX, most of her life. She graduated in 2010 from John Tyler High School.
Jasmin was a big sister, a daughter, and a friend. She was loved immensely by her family and friends. Jasmin found her passion in helping others, working with cars, and designing logos, which led her to create her own t-shirt brand, "Invisible Crowd." She excelled in all that she did.
As a young girl serving in her local church, her gifts were nurtured, and it brought out the strengths she would later use to accomplish her dreams of founding a non-profit Pequeños Preciosos to help children in need.
Jasmin made friends wherever she went and made an impact on many. Jasmin was respectful, wise, and had a very clear and strong sense of self. She will always be remembered for what she stood for, her smile, her laugh, her loveable and graceful demeanor.
Jasmin is proceeded in death by her dear grandfather, Luis Araujo.
Jasmin is survived by her loving parents, Juan Ramon Araujo, Maria de Jesus (Gerardo Miranda) Barroso; Her siblings Alex, Angel, Daisy, Juan, and Leah; Grandparents Eloisa Araujo, Jose Luz (María Ester) Barroso Valdez.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Jasmin. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this incredibly difficult time. Jasmin was a beautiful, kind and loving person, trying to make the world a better place. We were very close. I was touched by her attempts to raise money for Andrews Center and those struggling with mental illness. Jasmin came up with the idea of a fundraiser on her own. She was such a compassionate person, helping others, when she was fighting her own battles. She was hardworking and had many plans for her future. She was always the first to say thank you and give you a big hug.
Losing someone in such a tragic manner is profoundly painful. The last time I saw her was in 2022, and she was doing great. She was full of hope and excited to move to Michigan. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones as they navigate this unimaginable grief. May you find comfort in the memories you shared and strength in the support of those around you.
If there is anything I can do to support you, please do not hesitate to reach out.
