Obituary For Jimmy Christopher

(April 23, 1951 --- December 21, 2022 )

MOUNT ENTERPRISE----Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Earl Christopher, 71, will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at noon in the sanctuary of Moss Temple Church of the Living God in Mt. Enterprise, Texas with Rev. Zeb Cantley serving as eulogist.

Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Nacogdoches, Texas under the direction of John R Harmon Undertaking Company.

Mr. Christopher was born on April 23, 1951 and transitioned on December 21, 2022.

He attended school in Mount Enterprise, Texas. Mr. Christopher was a truck driver and a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence Christopher Sr. and Lois Christopher; two sisters and three brothers. Left to cherish his memories are his spouse: Eva Christopher of Mt. Enterprise, Texas; daughters: Renae Christopher of Dallas; Tarra Christopher of Mesquite and Andrea Austin of Mt. Enterprise; sons: Quinton Ross of Tyler, Curtis Ross and Kendall Ross (Lori) of Odessa; brothers: Joe Smith (Diann) of Dallas; Sisters: Ellwe Stephney of Rockwall and twenty grandchildren.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 2 p.m to 8 p.m.at the funeral home.

I offer my sympathy and condolences to Jimmy's wife and family. Jimmy was my first cousin; my father Fred Christopher was brother to his dad. Although it's been many, many years since I've seen Jimmy, I think back and remember the days of play, fun, laughter and friendship that we had as children -- all of the Christopher cousins playing together at Big Mamma's house.
