Kevin grew up playing at my house with my boys. Me and my son were talking about me taking them to the skating rink on weekends. He was a lovable kid. My heart breaks for his family and friends. He will never be forgotten.
My condolences to the family. We will keep Robert, Ray, and his mother in our prayers.

You will be missed. My Friend and My Brother.
In Loving Memory of My Dear Friend, Confidant, and Brother — Kelvin LeMarc Jones
Kelvin was more than a friend; he was family — a light that filled every room, announced by laughter and crowned by his unforgettable smile. His heart beat to gospel and Latin music, and the soulful rhythms of 80's and 90's R&B.
As a published poet, every line of his work carried truth — born of pain and sorrow, yet always reaching toward hope, beauty, love, and compassion. Through his words, his laughter, and his presence, Kelvin's light touched every life he met.
Always a king, and a son, a brother, a realtor, an advisor, a poet, a true friend, he lived with grace, purpose, and an open heart.
His love remains, his lessons endure, and his light will never fade.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:23
Love you to the moon and back. You are my friend.

My Friend, My Ride or Die, My Brother It is with GREAT empathy and an aching heart that I write to my Church family my condolence for Kelvin. North Tenneha Church of Christ brought our families together and Kelvin and I became siblings. Kelvin and I have gone through many of life's challenges, sadness's, and joys. With both of us having an understanding that God put us on each other's path for a reason not just a season. This was an unimaginable tragedy, a senseless act, and an ENORMOUS loss, but God makes no mistakes. My memories of Kelvin are long and wonderful and that is what will continue to help me get through this time of sorrow along with prayers and the help of my Heavenly Father. So, as Kelvin once wrote: "A Peaceful Rest" I will pull an excerpt from that poem..."We grow together and know when its best keeping track of the memories Cause there's always a test.....We lay down once more hoping we've done our best Cause this time we deserve A Peaceful Rest". May God bless you and keep you is my prayer to any and everyone who loved My Friend, My Ride or Die, My Brother, Mr. Kelvin LeMarc Jones. So as he would say to me once we have reached our destination after being out, "REL is at home" and my reply this time, "John Tyler is still out". Love Always, Detra R. Conner
