Obituary For Kenneth "Snacks" Matthew

TYLER -- Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Matthew, 41, of Tyler, Texas will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 1 pm in the sanctuary of Smith Temple Church of God in Christ with Bishop David R. Houston eulogist.

Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Company.

Mr. Matthew was born on May 6, 1981 and transitioned on January 1, 2023. He graduated from John Tyler High School was employed at Sanderson Farms and a member of Smith Temple Church of God in Christ.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lily Majestic Ross. Mr. Matthew is survived by his father Christopher Matthew of Dallas, Step-father, Nathan Thomas of Tyler; Significant Other: Patria Dowden of Gladewater; Sisters: Felicia Coffer-Hashaway (Richard) of Tyler, Christina Matthew-Deffo (Modeste) of Miami, Nasha Thomas of Dallas; Brothers: Antonio Robinson and Dillan Hayden, both of Dallas; and a host of relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be Friday, January 13, 2023 from 2 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
