TYLER--Kimberly Lanette Hudson McCray was born on Thursday January 15,1981 to the late Cleaster Hudson and Billie Jean Smith Hudson in Tyler, Tx. At an early age Kimberly accepted christ as her lord and savor. She attended People’s Missionary Baptist Church in Tyler, Tx and New Breed in Ft. Worth Tx.

• Kimberly was married to the late Donyee McCray and to that union one child was born Amiyah McCray. She was a part of the 1999 Graduating class of John Tyler High School where she was the mascot “LION”

  Kimberly worked at Pets Mart as a veterinarian assistant. She also worked as an early childhood development educator at several childcare centers including Child Time in Mesquite, Tx. Kimberly enjoyed listing to music especially by her favorite artist Salena. He enjoyed cooking and baking. She loved to wear make-up and take glamour photos. Kim was very caring and loved taking care of her family and pets.

  Kimberly was proceeded to eternal rest by her parents Cleaster and Billie Jean Hudson, her husband and sister D’Andrea Hudson. On Tuesday May 12,2026 Kimberly Lanette Hudson McCray departed this life at Dallas Regional Medical Center, Mesquite. Left to cherish her memories is her beloved sweetheart Derrick Harper of Dallas Tx, Daughter Amiyah McCray of Mesquite, TX, grandson A’Morrion Hill. Two sisters, Stacie and Ne’C, Three brothers, Kroy, Vicent and Patrick. A host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and her fur baby Nyla.
