We were friends from that day forward.im going to miss his welfare checks when every so often he would call me and say"I calling to check on Bunnice Pace, of course you know he had to make my name sound even more country, didn't even know that was possible Lol...I going to miss your crazy butt, rest well! Me and the crew first met Mario at Roadway, we old school thought he was to young to be driving big rigs 🚚 But with time you get to know a person better. I never seen him get upset always laid back. The young brother will surely be missed. As always God has plan for all of us. I wish to express my condolences and love to him family. God Bless you all Lee Gaskin
Mario was the first genuine friend I ever met when I moved to Texas. He has always been there for me and my children and my grandchildren and I will be forever grateful to God for placing such a wonderful person in my life. They always say whenever you meet an angel keep them near and I will always hold tight to the moments that we share together. I will always love you and I will truly miss you.
My friend Mario, I wish I had just one more chance to see your smile, to laugh with you again, to reminisce of all our good times and adventures, to say we were complete opposites is putting it mildly. Gods plan and timing is always perfect , when you walked into my life , your first words to me brought so much laughter, and even now when I remember those moments it makes me laugh and puts a smile on my face. You were a Blessing, I'm so glad our circles crossed, of all the special gifts in life , to have you as my friend was the greatest gift of all. Our friendship was truly priceless, I will cherish forevermore . Mario you are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. Rest softly now my special friend. DRG.
I first met Mario quite a few years back at ROADWAY EXPRESS trucking in Texas. I was his dispatcher and I remember my first impression upon meeting him. I thought he looked a little young to be driving a Big Rig. But a peak at his license showed that he was licensed and was fully qualified. Mario was dispatched to locations all across this country and he brought that rig in everytime without a scratch on it. Very Impressive. Mario ALWAYS called me "Mr. Daniels" while everyone else called me variations of my first name. My condolences to the family of this respectful and Impressive young man.
Man, it's hard to believe you are no longer here. I have so many mixed emotions. I am sad you are gone, but I am hurt more than anything because, for whatever reason, you felt you could not confide in me about your illness. I remember when we first met, almost 44 years ago, we bonded as brother and sister, and it remained that way. When we talked on 1-28-26, and you told me to get my black dress ready, I did not take you seriously, because you then said that you were going to have a meeting at your home next month, because you wanted to talk with "us", whoever us were. When we last talked, if I had known that I would not be able talk with you again....... :( I know you are in a better place because God does not make mistakes. As you would sometimes remind me," my sister don't fool with me anymore," because I did not agree with your shenanigans, you are still my brother, (lol) and I will always love my brother!!!!! You are pain-free now, no more hospital stays, oxygen tanks, or losing your breath because you always had a lot to say, lol. Rest well, brother, rest well!!!!!! Missing my brother!! Your loving sister, Mary Hunter Griffin
No one can say they know what you're going through right now. Hope there is comfort in knowing others share hour sadness and care about you so much.
