TYLER---Celebration of Life for Mrs. Mary Shackelford, 94, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, November 10, 2024 at St. James CME Church with Rev. Brian T. Lightner, eulogist. Burial will be at 11 am on Monday, November 11, 2024 in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Company.
Mrs. Shackelford was born on August 17, 1930 and entered into eternal rest on October 30, 2024. She is survived by her husband: James Shackelford; daughters: Angela Shackelford Grandberry and Teresa Shackelford Lincoln; son: Clarence Shackelford (Anita) all of Tyler; sister Aiszeleen Stansell of Whitehouse, Texas and a host of grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Public viewing will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 3 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.

Aunt Lucille will be sorely missed. She taught me to love reading and often took me to the library to check out books. She got me into Blue-Birds and community service. She taught me how vital it is to have a good education. Praying for our family ππ½
