CHANDLER---Ms. Michelle Louise Howard Robinson's Homegoing Celebration will be Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 12 noon at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Chandler, Texas with Dr. Timothy J. Wilbert Sr. as eulogist. The church address is 17422 FM 317, Chandler, Texas 75758. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Chandler.
Michelle was born November 25, 1959, to Robert & Velma Jackson Howard in Tyler, Texas. She had a sister, Zilvia, who was older. Michelle joined Bethlehem Baptist Church in Flint, Texas at an early age. She learned to play the piano at a young age and in her adult years she played for various churches in the East Texas area as well as the Dallas Metroplex.
Michelle’s mother was a teacher, and she attended several different schools throughout her early days, but she graduated from Palestine High School in Palestine, Texas. Her desire was to complete her college degree and in December of 2015 she received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. Her other goal was to become a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. Through determination and dedication, she became a graduate member of the Zeta Kappa Zeta Chapter in Tyler, Texas.
On Sunday, October 10, 2021, the Angel of Silence took Michelle Louise Howard Robinson to her heavenly home. Her soul winged a flight from this world of sorrow and pain to a place of eternal rest and peace.
Preceding her in death are her parents: Robert Howard & Velma Jackson Howard Runnels. sister: Zilvia LaNell Howard and nephew: Kyandra Howard.
She leaves to cherish her memories: sons: Collandra (Sara ) Howard and Craig Robinson; grandchildren: Corbin, Christopher, Ceriah, Collandra (CJ); great grandchildren: Genesis and Sevyn; cousin/brother: Milton Wallace; Nephews: Kyandra, Jay, Robert, Kelvin, George, John; Nieces: Christiana, Marvella, Velquin, Angele, Cynthia, Carolyn, Lila and a host of life long god sisters, friends and classmates.
Visitation will be Friday, October 22, 2021, from 2 pm to 8 pm. At John R. Harmon Undertaking Company in Tyler, Texas.
Michelle was a dear and close friend of mine. To her sons, please know that I am here if you need me. On behalf of the Palestine Class of 1978 our thoughts and prayers are with her family. She will be missed and always loved.
