TYLER---Funeral services for Ora Martin, 71, of Tyler are scheduled for 11 am, November 29, 2025 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Flint, Texas with pastor Thomas Blaylock, eulogist. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery under direction of John R Harmon Undertaking Company.
Ms. Martin was born February 23, 1954 in Smith County to both the late Simmon and Ruth Swanson Blaylock. She transitioned on November 19, 2025.
Ms. Martin was a graduated of Robert E Lee High School. During her earlier years, she was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and later she united with Grateful Worship Center under the leadership of Rev. Thomas Blaylock where she was a choir member.
Ms. Martin was preceded in death by one son and three siblings. She is survived by daughter, Darmesha Martin and grandsons: Josh Johnson and DeAuntre Wallace of Tyler, bonus grandchildren: Crystal Hubbard, Christopher Hubbard and Courtnie Hubbard of Tyler; brother: Jimmy Don Blaylock fo Tyler, Texas; bonus brother: Milton Dixson of Chandler, Texas; sisters:Sally Wright, Eliza Martin, Mary Richardson, Minnie Bennett, Kathy Blaylock and Debbie Kemp, all of Tyler, Texas.
Public viewing will be on Friday, November 28, 2025 from 2 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
