TYLER----Funeral services for Ms. Polly Holder, 73, are scheduled for 11 am, Saturday, November 23, 2024 at New Zion Baptist Church Winona with Dr. S.L. Curry, eulogist. Burial will be in Kay Cemetery under direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Company.

Ms. Holder was born on March 12, 1951 in Smith County to the late Ted Bell and Helen Arps and she transitioned on November 13, 2024. Ms. Holder attended Winona Intermediate Schools. She was a life resident of Smith County and member of New Zion Baptist Church where she was a former member of New Zion Baptist Church where she was a former member of the Sanctuary Choir.

She was preceded in death by her spouse: Atron Charles Holder; brothers: Bobby Bell, Johnny B Bell, Cooley Bell, Fred Bell; sisters: Rose Marie Bell and Helen Mayfield. She is survived by son: Anderson Bell of Tyler, daughters: Paula Bell of Tyler, Joyce Hampton (Kensey) of Lancaster, Texas and Donna Bell of Duncanville, Texas; step-son: Arron Holder Jr. of Tyler, Texas; her grandson: Gavien Wright of Tyler, Texas, whom she raised as her own son. She also has fourteen granchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren.

Public viewing will be Friday, November 22 from 2 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
