BULLARD-- Funeral Services for Rev. Bruce Lyons Sr, 89, of Bullard, Texas will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 1 pm at New Hope Baptist Church in Bullard, Texas with Rev. E.A. Collins serving as eulogist. FACE MASK RECOMMENDED
Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery under the direction of John R Harmon Undertaking Company.
Rev. Lyons was born June 16, 1932 and transitioned on March 1, 2022.
He graduated from Stanton High School. Pastored Walnut Springs Baptist Church for over 30 years and served in the United States Army.
Rev. Lyons was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, two sons and one grandson. He leaves to cherish his memories to his spouse, Lesterine Lyons of Bullard, Texas, two sons: Raywin Lyons and Tony Lyons both of Bullard, sixteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Public viewing will be Friday, March 4, 2022 from 2 pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
