Funeral services for Johnnie Mobley, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas and formerly of Greenville, MS will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 2:30 PM at Greater St. Peter M. B. Church, Greenville, MS with burial following in Lakewood Cemetery, Greenville under the direction of Johnson & Scott Mortuary. He died Monday, January 17, 2022.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 28, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Johnson and Scott Mortuary.
Bishop Edgar Jackson will officiate.

Johnnie Black as I called him was an amazing man. I have known him since I was in elementary and I'm 32 now. He used to buy us kids candy from the ice cream truck. He would check my car before I would head back to college. Til this day he would come cut my grass. He really was apart of the family. I'm going to miss him deeply. Definitely did not want to accept this. Rest Johnnie Black the Mayberry's will forever be grateful and love & miss you. Buddha
