Funeral services for Michael Lavarn Brooks, 72, of Shelby, Ms will be held Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 11am at Community Chapel Assembly of God, Shelby with burial following in Zion Grove Cemetery, Shelby, under the direction of Johnson and Scott Mortuary, Cleveland. He died Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at Diversacare of Shelby, Ms.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 14, 2026 at Community Chapel Assembly of God from 4-7pm.

Dr. Dennis Hawkins will officiate.
