Funeral services for Ruthie Woods, 98, of Mound Bayou, MS will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church, Mound Bayou, MS with burial following in Jerusalem Cemetery, Mound Bayou under the direction of Johnson and Scott Mortuary, Cleveland. She died Sunday, July 25, 2021 at her home.

Visitation is being held today from 4-6 PM at First Baptist Church, Mound Bayou, MS.

The Rev. Glen Lyles will officiate.

Our Love and prayers are with you doing this Celebration of life of this virtuous women of God. It really takes a lot of faith to get through times like these. Jeremiah 32:27 says, "Behold, I am the Lord...is anything too difficult for Me? Praying you will be comforted by those precious memories, the caring of others and the healing power of time. Your loved one now rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ where there is no more worries, no disappointments, pain and sorry. My deepest sympathy, I've never met Ms. Ruthie but found out we were related through the Watts/Battle family. We spoke with her just over a year ago and she gave a little family history and she remembered my Great Grandmother. If anyone could send me her obituary flyer I would appreciate it.
