Obituary For Lola Bass
Mrs. Lola Lee Bass, 87, of Bassfield, Mississippi passed away on Monday, January 9, 2022 at her residence.
She is the daughter of the late Reedus and Gussie McLeod. She was a member of Sweetwater Methodist Church, Bassfield, Mississippi.
Mrs. Bass was a retired registered nurse who served on the Board of Directors at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital. She loved solitaire, traveling, cards and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Sweetwater Methodist Church at 11am. Interment will be at Wheeler Cemetery, Bassfield, Mississippi.
She is survived by: daughter, Anease Stubbs of Bassfield, MS; three granddaughters, two great-granddaughters and one great-great granddaughter.
Visitation will be Friday, January 13, 2023 at Johnson Funeral Home, 1-6pm and Saturday at the church, 10-11am.
