As the Minister of Music for 1st Baptist Church in Dawson, my life has been greatly blessed by the wonderful life of Mrs. Downer. Years ago, she sang in my choir, and she was always known a one who would help others in her need. One story I will never forget is: She shopped downtown with another lady, younger than Mrs. Ann, and they were often seen when Mrs. Ann was helping the younger of the two up onto the sidewalk after crossing the street. Thank you, dear Lord, for putting this dear lady into the ministry of 1st Baptist, and into my life!
