LISA A JONES sent Mixed Dish Garden for Mrs. Mamie Jones - January 07, 2026
We are for an our sincere condolences to the Jones family. Mrs Mamie and my mom (Lula Smith) were lifetime friends which made her and her family our family. Mrs Mamie was always a neat dresser and a very sweet lady with a great heart. Our hearts and prayers is with the family during this difficult time.
Ms.Mamie Dell was a devoted servant of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. She served faithfully in many positions at Antioch until her death. Mamie Dell would always tell everyone that my late mother Sister Roberta "Collie" Jackson taught her about church. Mamie Dell stood up and carried on Antioch's mission with the Pastor when the elderly servants health failed and other members passed away. Now, take your rest Mamie Dell, you have earned it! I asked God to give her family strength as they deal with this unimaginable loss: her children, grands and other family & friends-especially her husband and life partner Deacon Roy Jones.
Words cannot express how saddened my heart is for your loss. Ms Mamie was a very sweet and caring person. I can recall many times we worked together with the youth at Antioch(Clay). I have so many fond memories of her. I pray the Lord will comfort you all during these difficult times. Special prayer for Deacon Roy Jones (her husband).
My heart goes out to you and your family as you grieve your mom. May you find comfort in the love of those around you and peace in the memories you hold dear. Love Lisa Jones
