Aaliyah Breanna Mayers, 30, passed away on June 24, 2025. Born on February 25, 1995, in Port Charlotte, Florida, to Tiffany Sims and Adam Mayers, Aaliyah was a light in the lives of everyone who knew her. She graduated from North Port High School in 2013 and later pursued her studies at Florida International University in Miami, where she embraced her independence and laid the foundation for a future filled with purpose and passion.

She is survived by her loving mother, Tiffany Sims of North Port, FL, and her father, Adam Mayers of Atlanta, GA. She also leaves behind her cherished siblings: Jakari Mayers, Kyeran Stanley, Jayden Mayers, Daraya Mayers, and Ke’iayana Mayers; her grandmothers Barbara DeLaet of North Port, FL, and Barbara Mayers of Atlanta, GA; her grandfather Franklin Sims of Sarasota, FL; along with a host of aunts, great uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends who will carry her memory with them always.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Fri., July 11, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home. Services will be held 1:00pm on Sat., July 12, 2025 at South Venice Baptist Church. Burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Jones Funeral Home.
