Obituary For Cecilia Spikes Pompey
Cecilia Spikes Pompey was born February 29, 1944 to the late Jethro Spikes and Ozella Singleton Spikes. She went on to be with the Lord on February 16, 2025.
Cecilia accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age. She graduated from Booker High School , then later graduating from Manatee Jr. College in 1981. Becoming a Registered Nurse was one of her most greatest accomplishments. Cecilia loved to travel and spend time fellowshipping with her friends and family.
She was a faithful servant, and served on the Usher Board Ministry. She was loved and respected by all who knew her.
Preceded her in death was her parents; Jethro Spikes and Ozella Singleton Spikes, Her daughter; Jockqueline Pompey, Her son; Timothy Pompey, Her brother ; David Anthony Spikes.
She leaves to cherish her memories; two daughters ; Tracy Wallace (Graylon) of Conyers, GA, and Lolita Holiday of Winston Salem, NC. One sister, Sandra Spikes, Two brothers; Jethro Spikes, and Walter Ray Spikes. 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, A host of relatives and friends.
Services will be held 2:00pm on March 1, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements by Jones Funeral Home.
