Obituary For David Nix
David Nix, 92, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away on Nov. 9, 2023. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Fri., Nov. 17, 2023 at Jones Funeral Home. Services will be held 2:00pm on Sat., Nov. 18, 2023 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements by Jones Funeral Home.
David leaves to cherish his memories: daughter, Tracie Nix-Washington (Robert); son, Larry Monroe; brothers, Luther Nix, Abraham Nix, William, Elijah, Daniel Nix; sisters, Frances Scott and Louise Gardner; long time friend, Rosa Lee Roberts; 3 grandchildren, Jammeria Higdon, Jermaine Higdon Jr. and Jaquavious Washington; 2 great grandchildren, Imalia and Iyvan; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
